Is it permissible to organize mixed competitions for memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran for boys and girls in mosques during Ramadan in the presence of worshippers, despite some people's objection to that on the grounds that it distracts them from reciting the Quran and causes them annoyance?

Organizing Quranic competitions is permissible, as it encourages young people to engage with the Quran. It is necessary to separate genders at the competition venue. It is advisable to coordinate with the mosque's management to cooperate in holding the competition there. If they do not agree, it is not permissible to disturb them during their prayers or recitations by raising voices, based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Let not some of you raise their voices over others with the Quran."
