What is the ruling on participating in Holy Quran memorization competitions and their regulations, and is it permissible to memorize and teach the Quran or lead people in Tarawih prayers for money?

It has been previously favored that participation in religious competitions is permissible, and that learning the Quran is a great act of worship that must be sincerely for Allah, and not for worldly gain. A severe warning has been mentioned for whoever learns knowledge by which the Face of Allah is sought, but learns it only to gain a worldly عرضًا, that "he will not find the scent of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection." As for teaching the Quran for a fee, it is permissible when there is a need and for those who dedicate their time to it.
