Is prayer considered unacceptable for forty days if a person consumes unlawful food?

Eating what is unlawful is a reason for supplications not to be answered, based on the Prophet's saying: "And he was nourished by unlawful things, so how can his supplication be answered?" As for prayer, which includes supplication and other elements, it is accepted and sufficient, and one is not commanded to repeat it. It has been reported concerning one who drinks intoxicants that Allah does not accept his prayer for forty days.
