How is the amount of 2000 Saudi Riyals divided among the wife, the son, and the daughter?

If the deceased leaves behind a wife, a son, and a daughter, the inheritance is divided as follows: The wife receives one-eighth due to the presence of a descendant heir, as Allah states: "But if you have a child, then for them is one eighth of what you leave." The remainder is divided between the son and the daughter, with the male receiving the equivalent of the share of two females, as Allah states: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females." For example, if the inheritance is two thousand riyals, the wife's share is 250 riyals, the son's 1166.66 riyals, and the daughter's 583.33 riyals. Inheritance cases must be referred to Sharia courts to verify the existence of other heirs, wills, or debts that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
