Does a divorce oath, the wording and timing of which are doubtful, and which was issued with the intention of threatening or preventing a specific action that has not been definitively proven to have occurred, take effect?

Marriage is a strong covenant that is not dissolved by illusions and doubts. As long as you two are not certain that a divorce has occurred, or what the divorce/prohibition was conditioned upon, then there is nothing upon you both, and divorce does not take place by such a thing. The fundamental principle is that the certainty of marriage is not removed by doubt, as Ibn Qudamah said: "If he does not know whether he divorced or not, then the certainty of marriage is not removed by the doubt of divorce."
