Are there any supplications that prevent bad dreams from coming true, and is there any mention in the Prophetic Sunnah of supplicating and seeking forgiveness with the intention that a dream does not come true?

Supplicating with the intention of repelling tribulation is prescribed and is among the means by which Allah Almighty repels affliction, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Nothing averts destiny except supplication," and "Indeed, supplication benefits against what has descended and what has not descended." Among the prescribed supplications are the Qunut supplication: "And protect us from the evil of what You have decreed," and the supplication of Yunus (peace be upon him): "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers." When one sees something disliked in a dream, the servant should seek refuge with Allah from Satan, spit to his left three times, not tell anyone about it, and pray.
