Does allusive divorce occur merely by thinking of the wording and intending divorce without uttering it, and what is the ruling on doubting the utterance along with the fear of divorce occurring?

Divorce does not occur through such whisperings (waswas), and one must be careful not to persist in them because their consequences are dire. The greatest aid in getting rid of them is seeking help from Allah, sincerely resorting to Him, supplicating frequently, turning away from them, and not paying them any attention.
