What is the wisdom behind a woman's passing in front of a man interrupting his prayer?

First: A Muslim must submit to the rulings of Islamic law, whether they understand the wisdom behind them or not. Second: A woman is not impure. Some scholars have explained her ceasing to pray (during menstruation) as being due to her ability to tempt a man. Third: It is authentically reported from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that three things interrupt prayer if they pass in front of a praying person (a woman, a donkey, a black dog). The meaning of "interrupts" is that it invalidates the prayer, according to the more correct of the two scholarly opinions.
