What are the times when supplications are answered?

A believer should make abundant supplication, while avoiding impediments to its acceptance, such as consuming unlawful earnings or supplicating with a heedless heart. He should supplicate with certainty of being answered, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Supplicate to Allah while you are certain of being answered," and he also said: "Indeed, your Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, is Modest and Generous; He is too modest to turn away empty the hands of His servant who raises them to Him." The hope for acceptance increases at specific times, such as the last third of the night, at the time of the Adhan (definition), between the Adhan and the Iqamah (definition), after the prescribed prayers, at a certain hour on Friday (from the Imam ascending the pulpit until the prayer is concluded, or the last hour after Asr), when rain falls, when two armies meet for battle, during prostration, and at the time of breaking the fast.
