What is the jurisprudential ruling on what is happening between the questioner and his mother, and what can he do to appease her, knowing that she stipulates that he divorce his wife or marry another, and he cannot do so financially and does not want to destabilize his family, and that she asks him to repay the marriage expenses despite his being responsible for all her affairs and household expenses?

You are not obliged to obey your mother in her conditions for two reasons: they are not reasonable (ma'ruf), and they cause harm to you and your children. Obedience to parents is conditional upon what is reasonable and what does not harm the child. We advise patience, honoring your mother, treating her with kindness, and making supplication for her. The wife should repel evil with good.
