If a husband repeats the pronouncement of divorce three times, but intends only one divorce thereby, then only one divorce occurs. He may take his wife back before her ' (waiting period) ends, provided this divorce does not complete the three divorces. Psychological conditions and intrusive thoughts do not prevent the occurrence of divorce as long as the husband is aware of what he is saying.
