Is donating coupons to feed a fasting person considered fulfillment of a vow to give money in charity to the poor and needy?

If the questioner, a sister, vowed to donate a specific amount of money after her recovery and she did recover, then she must fulfill her vow with money. It is not permissible to give food or anything else in its place according to those who stipulate this. If the organization entrusted with disbursing the money is trustworthy and aware of the intention, then giving the money to it is sufficient to fulfill the vow, even if the coupons she received are for feeding a fasting person, provided that this does not mean converting the vow into food. However, if her intention when making the vow was to donate something general (money or otherwise), then giving food is sufficient. The acceptance of deeds is a matter of the unseen, but a Muslim is obligated to strive for their deeds to be accepted by Allah, and for the money to be lawful and purely for the sake of Allah.
