The answer

You are advised to strive for marriage for chastity. If you are unable to, then you must fast, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O young people, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so, for it helps him lower his gaze and guard his chastity. And whoever cannot afford to marry, let him fast, for it will be a restraint for him."

Furthermore, one should avoid foods that stimulate sexual desire, lower the gaze from alluring sights, and refrain from mixing with women and being alone with them.

If forbidden thoughts occur to you, seek refuge in Allah from Satan, engage in remembrance of Allah (dhikr), and establish a daily routine to nourish your faith by reading books of and spiritual edification (Raqā’iq), making supplications (Du'a), and seeking good company.
