Is the hadith that mentions a disobedient person who loves music coming on the Day of Judgment, and it is said to him: "Enter the Fire," but he refuses and offers excuses, then the sound of his favorite music is heard from the Fire, so he plunges into it dancing, authentic?

Listening to music and musical instruments is forbidden according to the four Imams, as indicated by the Shariah proofs. As for the saying that the music lover will come on the Day of Judgment, and Allah will order him to enter Hellfire, and the sound of the music he used to love will emanate from Hellfire, so he will go forth dancing until he enters Hellfire, it is not permissible to attribute this to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. This statement has no basis, and it is repulsive and detestable. It has no known origin in religion; rather, it is among the fabricated hadiths. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against lying about him, and whoever narrates a hadith knowing or thinking it is fabricated and does not clarify its status, falls under the threat.
