Which madhhab should be followed in Palestine, and how were the madhahib divided among the regions?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

It is obligatory upon a servant to follow what Allah has revealed to His Messenger. The best people to have understood and acted upon it were the noble Companions, whom the Prophet (peace be upon him) testified to their goodness and their salvation from division. Infallibility lies in the methodology of the Companions and those who followed them among the imams of guidance, such as the four imams. One must be wary of innovative methodologies. Whoever desires salvation must adhere to the Sunnah. As for the recognized jurisprudential schools of thought, they are four: the school of Abu Hanifa, Malik, Al-Shafi'i, and Ahmad. Whoever wishes to gain understanding in jurisprudence should do so through one of them, and the ignorant person must ask the people of knowledge and religion.
