How can one reconcile the two noble verses: "Whatever good befalls you is from Allah, and whatever evil befalls you is from yourself" and "No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being"?

The reconciliation between the two verses is achieved by knowing that everything that happens in the universe was written in the Preserved Tablet before the creation of creation, and that the affliction is attributed to the servant because he is the cause of it through his disobedience.
