Is it permissible to raise the hands when saying the takbir before prostrating and when rising from it?

The prayer of one who raises their hands when prostrating or rising from prostration is valid. However, scholars have differed on whether this action is sunnah (recommended). Raising the hands during prayer is established in four places: when saying the opening takbir (takbirat al-ihram), when bowing and rising from bowing, and when standing up for the third rak'ah. This is confirmed in the hadith of Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, which negates raising the hands when prostrating or rising from prostration. An-Nasa'i narrated from Malik ibn al-Huwayrith the Prophet's action, peace and blessings be upon him, and some scholars, like Al-Albani, deemed it authentic, while others, like Ibn al-Qayyim, considered it an anomaly due to its contradiction with the agreed-upon hadith of Ibn Umar. Some scholars have preferred the hadith of Ibn Umar, considering it more firmly established, while others have suggested the possibility of reconciling the narrations by saying that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did this sometimes and mostly left it.
