Is it permissible to give interest (ribawi) earnings to relatives with the intention of getting rid of it, not with the intention of zakat, given a previous fatwa prohibiting that?

It is not permissible to earn money through unlawful means such as usury or deception. Whoever acquires unlawful wealth and repents, must dispose of it by giving it to the poor and needy or for general Muslim welfare. They should not take any of it for themselves or their family, unless they are poor and in need, in which case it is permissible for them and their family to take from it according to their need. It then becomes lawful and good for the poor recipient.
