The answer

The ark is a wooden box. Allah Almighty mentioned that in it there is a remnant of what the family of Moses and the family of Aaron left behind. The ark into which Moses’ mother cast her son Moses was also made of wood. The term "ark" also refers to the ribs and what they contain, and they were so named by analogy to a box in which belongings are stored.
