Is it permissible for a traveler to combine and shorten the Dhuhr and Asr prayers with an early combination (jam' taqdim) when traveling during the day, even if there are distant mosques along the way, and to avoid delaying the prayer?

It is permissible for a traveler to shorten the four-rak'ah prayers if their journey is lawful and its distance is no less than eighty-three kilometers, after passing all the houses of their village. Where shortening is permissible, it is also permissible to combine prayers that share a time (Dhuhr with Asr, and Maghrib with Isha) either by bringing the later prayer forward (jama' taqdim) or delaying the earlier prayer (jama' ta'khir).
