What is the ruling on using non-free software available online by distributing it through its purchasers with a password, or by using a fake password (patch, crack) to convert the free version into a purchased version?

Therefore, it is not permissible to copy software or use pirated copies except with the permission of their owners, because that is considered consuming people's wealth by unlawful means.
