What is the ruling on practicing dangerous sports such as tightrope walking, jumping from high places, and staying in a cage with snakes?

The Sharia commanded Muslims to take care of their bodies and forbade harming them, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There shall be no harm or reciprocating of harm." Scholars have discussed the ruling on practicing dangerous games. The author of "Al-Durr Al-Mukhtar" mentioned their permissibility for the skilled person whose safety is predominantly assured. The following conditions are required for these games to be permissible: perfect skill and mastery, without neglecting obligatory duties or Sunnah practices; a strong presumption of safety, otherwise they are forbidden; that the game not be for money; that the game be restricted to days of joy and happiness; and the prevention of mixing of genders, exposure of awrah (private parts), and games involving magic.
