In the صيغة (formulation) of Mudarabah, it is sufficient to use words that indicate it, without needing to mention every detail. For example, the owner of the capital might say: "Take this money as Mudarabah, on the condition that the profit between us is such-and-such," and the Mudarib (working partner) says: "I have taken it" or "I accept." Words such as "Mudarabah" and "Muqaradah" suffice in place of detailing how losses are borne. The صيغة is the fourth pillar of Mudarabah, and it is completed through offer (إيجاب) and acceptance (قبول).
