If a trustworthy Muslim or non-Muslim female doctor, or a Muslim male doctor, is not available to perform a surgical operation, there is no harm in having a non-Muslim male doctor perform it out of necessity, provided that care is taken to ensure he only sees what is necessary, and that a mahram or a trustworthy woman is present to prevent khalwa (unlawful seclusion).
