Why did Allah choose prophets from among men? Is it because men are superior to women?

Allah chose prophets from among men due to their ability to endure the hardships and harms of Da'wah (preaching), and because women are commanded to stay in their homes and avoid mingling, which contradicts the mission of prophethood. The male gender is superior to the female gender, as Allah Almighty said: "Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other," but this does not prevent some women from being better than many men. Moreover, women's duties such as pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and raising children conflict with the burdens of prophethood. "Allah is most knowing of where He places His message."
