What is the ruling if the wife refuses intercourse due to lack of desire or fatigue, or fear of harming the fetus during pregnancy, and is she sinful for that?

The spouses must understand each other, and the husband must consider his wife's feelings and circumstances, and be moderate in intercourse. The wife must answer her husband if he calls her to bed, and it is forbidden for her to refuse unless there is a legitimate reason, such as if it distracts her from obligations or harms her physically, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If a man calls his wife to his bed, and she refuses, and he spends the night angry with her, the angels curse her until morning." If there is real harm to her, her husband is not allowed to have intercourse with her, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There should be no harm or reciprocating harm." The wife is not entitled to refuse merely due to fatigue or an unsuitable psychological state. The issue of whether a child is harmed or not is to be referred to specialists among doctors.
