What is the ruling on praying behind an Imam who drops the alif wasl (connecting alif) in the word of Majesty (Allah) during the transitional takbeers?

The hamzat al-wasl (connecting hamza) is an extra hamza at the beginning of a word that drops in the middle of speech (when connecting). Dropping it from the takbīr of transition or other instances is not considered a linguistic error that alters the meaning. The takbīr of transition is a Sunnah according to the majority of scholars, so whoever omits it, their prayer is still valid. Therefore, the prayer of the imam and those behind him is valid, and the imam should be gently informed about the linguistic error.
