ما معنى الطريقة الجعفرية؟

The Ja'fari tariqa is attributed to Sheikh Salih bin Muhammad Salih al-Ja'fari al-Sadiqi al-Husseini. Its founder is Sheikh Salih al-Ja'fari, who was born in Sudan in 1328 AH, then came to Egypt and received education at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

Sheikh Salih al-Ja'fari stated that the methodology of his tariqa is based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, the fiqh of the four madhhabs, the Ash'ari creed in monotheism, and the Sufism of Abu al-Qasim al-Junayd.

However, this tariqa, like other Sufi tariqas, contains many innovations (bid'ah), superstitions, and false claims, such as: the claim of hearing the Prophet, peace be upon him, while awake, and taking dhikr directly from him, seeing prophets and saints while awake, and the claim by some of its followers that their sheikh fulfills needs and grants victory.
