Is it permissible to donate to or attend a Christmas celebration organized by Christian nurses in a medical facility, knowing their potential poverty and need for assistance in funding the event?

It is not permissible for a Muslim to celebrate the aforementioned holiday, nor to attend with those who celebrate it, because it is an imitation of the disbelievers, increasing their numbers, and affirming their disbelief and misguidance. Similarly, it is not permissible to assist in it by any means whatsoever, whether by donating money or otherwise, because it is cooperation in sin. Allah Almighty said: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." And the Muslim will be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about his wealth: from where he acquired it and in what he spent it.
