Why does the number of books in Sahih al-Bukhari mentioned in "Fath al-Bari" (83 books) differ from their number in Sahih al-Bukhari itself (98 books)?

The numbering of Sahih al-Bukhari's books varies depending on the edition. In the Dar Al-Ta'seel edition and Fath Al-Bari edited by Shu'ayb Al-Arna'ut, there are 95 books, whereas in the Salafi edition of Fath Al-Bari, there are 97 books. Al-Bukhari did not specify the number of his books or chapters. Ibn Hajar comprehensively covered the Sahih in his commentary. The numbering of the books is a contemporary endeavor.
