If your work in the ministry is directly connected to forbidden things or to assisting in them, then it is not permissible to work there, and you must leave it. However, if the work is not connected to any forbidden things, then it is permissible, while searching for a better job, due to the Almighty’s saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
