What is the clarification regarding the ruling on communal takbir on the the Day of Arafah and the Days of Tashreeq, and what is the validity of what was reported from Sheikh Hamoud Al-Tuwaijri concerning its impermissibility?

The permissible collective Takbir is when a group of people say Takbir at the same time, each person saying Takbir for himself without following the voice of another. An example of this is the Takbir after prayers during the Days of Tashreeq, where the Imam says Takbir and the people say Takbir with him individually. As for saying Takbir in a loud voice, with a special melody, and in an organized collective manner, this is a reprehensible innovation (bid'ah). These are matters of permissible scholarly disagreement, and one should not condemn those who differ. Rather, each scholar should present his viewpoint and its evidence without fanaticism.
