Which is better: giving charity to the poor of the village or donating to build a mosque?

Building mosques is a great good deed, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, seeking Allah's countenance, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." If building a mosque conflicts with giving charity to family, then giving charity to relatives is better, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Abu Talhah: "I suggest you distribute it among your relatives," and he said: "Charity given to a poor person is one charity, but charity given to a relative is two: charity and maintaining kinship ties." Therefore, it is better to give charity to the poor of the village.
