The reconciliation of the Ahadith that mention the permissibility of Mut'ah and its subsequent abrogation is that al-Mut'ah was permissible at the beginning of Islam, then it was prohibited. As for describing Mut'ah as zina (fornication), this was after its prohibition, to emphasize its impermissibility, and not because it was actual zina. Finally, it is not permissible to speak about matters of except with knowledge and understanding.
