Is it permissible to repeat Salatul-Istikhara for the same matter, and to go back on a decision made based on a previous Istikhara?

Reciting Al-Fatiha during an engagement has no basis in Islamic law. The transgressions that occurred between the engaged couple, which led to the heart's attachment, necessitate repentance. If the girl withdraws from the engagement after performing Istikhara (prayer for guidance), the young man must cure himself of his infatuation through supplication, worship, and by seeking another righteous wife. Repeating Istikhara is permissible. The young man is advised to stop dwelling on what has been decreed and to be content with what Allah has destined, for it may be better for him.
