The answer

Whoever prays Maghrib in the mosque and then stays, waiting for 'Isha, is considered to be in prayer, engaged in a righteous deed, and Allah boasts about him to the angels. It is preferable to fill this time with prayer. Indeed, the Companions, the Tabi'un, and the Imams used to pray between Maghrib and 'Isha. It is best for this prayer to be performed at home, as the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray it in his house.
