What is the reason for the shroud becoming damp, the bones protruding from the shroud, and the appearance of dead worms seven years after burial?

The bones protruding from the shroud might be due to the swelling of the corpse and the tearing of the shroud, with the bones remaining after the body's decomposition. It is not permissible to dig up or open a grave except out of urgent necessity, for the sanctity of a Muslim in death is like their sanctity in life, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Breaking the bone of a dead person is like breaking it when they are alive." You should close the grave and restore it to its original state.
