Is Zakat due on a deposit if it is broken before the usual Zakat due date?

If you withdrew the deposit from the bank and bought a car with it, then look at the remaining amount. If it reaches the nisab by itself, or when combined with other funds, then zakat (a quarter of a tenth) is obligatory on it; otherwise, it is not.
