Is it permissible to sell merchandise for a deferred price (1100 dinars) that exceeds its cash price (1000 dinars), knowing that the buyer did not pay any amount in advance? And is this sale considered usurious?

Here are two issues: First: Agreeing to pay the price after the buyer sells the commodity, meaning agreeing to an unknown term, which invalidates the sale according to the majority of scholars. Some scholars hold the view that the sale is valid but the term is void.

Second: The aforementioned transaction could involve "two sales in one sale" if the price differs between cash and deferred payment, and they have not finalized the matter. This is impermissible due to the Prophet's prohibition of it. It also could involve increasing the price in exchange for delaying payment, which is forbidden usury (riba).
