How can one reconcile a man's desire to marry a second woman who was divorced for the sake of marrying him, with his fear for the stability of his first family and children, and his inability to forget her previous marriage, especially considering his current financial capability and religious commitment?

Alienating a woman from her husband is a grave sin and one of the major sins. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the perpetrator and disavowed him. A woman who seeks a divorce without a valid reason must know that this is forbidden for her. One of the conditions for sincere repentance is to return injustices to their rightful owners. The woman must return to her husband and apologize to him. It is not permissible for someone who alienated a woman from her husband to marry her unless the husband forgives and permits it. The majority of scholars consider the marriage contract valid despite the sin of alienation, while some Maliki and Hanbali scholars consider the contract null and void. Sincere repentance is accepted and opens the door to Allah's mercy; one should not despair of it. As for fears of neglecting children, this must be addressed with wisdom and justice among wives, and new marriages should be based on justice, not on the ruins of the first marriage.
