Is the saying "his life is longer than yours" (referring to someone who has been preceded in action or speech) from the Sunnah of the Prophet?

This statement has no basis in the Sunnah. The occurrence of a thought in the mind of more than one person is not strange, and it does not indicate the longevity or brevity of the life of the one who said it.
