Do the verses of mutual imprecation in Surat An-Nur not address a woman's testimony against her husband in a similar manner, and if it is possible, why did the verses not mention it?

Accusing a Muslim and slandering them with indecency is forbidden and a grave sin. Due to its heinousness, Islamic law stipulated four upright witnesses to prove it, in order to ensure concealment and to close the door to delving into people's honor. An exception to this is the case where a husband sees his wife committing adultery without witnesses; in this situation, he is permitted to perform li'an with her. This ruling is specific to the husband, not the wife, for reasons we clarified in Fatwa No. 62500. However, if the husband commits indecency, the wife is permitted to request a divorce from him.
