Does an expiation become obligatory upon one who performed ghusl with goat's blood out of ignorance of the Shar'i ruling?

It is impermissible to go to soothsayers, astrologers, and magicians, or to ask them questions or believe them, as this is among the gravest of major sins. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever goes to a soothsayer and asks him about anything, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights," and "Whoever goes to a soothsayer or astrologer and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him." Similarly, it is impermissible to seek healing with impurities such as blood, based on the Prophet's saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "Seek remedies, but do not seek remedies with unlawful things," and "Indeed, Allah has not made your cure in what He has forbidden to you." What is incumbent upon anyone who has done so is sincere repentance to Allah, by regretting the sin, abandoning it, and resolving not to return to it.
