ما هي أدلة عدم تشبه المسلمين بالكفار من القرآن والسنة؟

It is established in Islamic law that it is impermissible for Muslims to imitate disbelievers in their acts of worship, festivals, and distinctive attire. This is a great principle that many Muslims have neglected, either out of ignorance or by following their desires, leading to their humiliation and weakness. Many proofs from the Qur'an and Sunnah affirm this, among them His (Allah's) saying: "Then We put you, [O Muhammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know" and "And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened." And from the Sunnah, His (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever imitates a people is one of them," and his prohibition of making a Dhat Anwat for Muslims, in imitation of the polytheists.
