"What are the best deeds in the sight of Allah after acts of obedience? "
"Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family and companions.
Multiple hadiths have been reported about the best deeds in Islam through various accounts from the companions. In one narration, it was mentioned that the best deeds are having faith in Allah and His Messenger, then striving in the path of Allah, and then a pilgrimage that is accepted (Hajj Mabroor). In another narration, faith in Allah and striving in His path was mentioned. In a third narration, it was mentioned to perform prayer on time and to be dutiful to one's parents. Scholars have clarified that the difference in these narrations is due to the varying circumstances of those asking, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, answered each questioner according to what suited their condition."
