Verses of rulings are those that contain jurisprudential rulings, whether explicitly, like the verse concerning Hajj Mut'ah which stipulates fasting ten days for whoever cannot find a sacrificial animal, or by inference, such as the scholars' deduction regarding the validity of the fast of one who wakes up in a state of major ritual impurity, from the Almighty's saying: "So now have sexual relations with them and seek what Allah has ordained for you, and eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]."
