How can the phenomenon of the word "Salafi" being considered negative in Australia, especially in Sydney, be dealt with, given the prevalence of the Tablighi Jamaat and Dawah, and what is the ruling on congratulating people on Eid two weeks after its end, especially since Eid al-Adha is only one day?

Wisdom in da'wah (calling to Allah) necessitates knowledge of times and circumstances, and presenting what is appropriate for each situation. In this context, it is wise to abandon verbal affiliation with "Salafism" and suffice with the description "Muslim" for the following reasons:

1. What matters are the content and actions, not words and names, for Allah looks at hearts and deeds. 2. Sufficing with the description of Islam is more fitting and better, for it is the name Allah has given us, and it is sufficient and comprehensive. 3. Nominal affiliation with "Salafism" is not a religious obligation, and abandoning it does not incur sin. 4. This affiliation has been tainted by much distortion and misrepresentation, and has become associated with extremist groups, which may harm da'wah and disperse the congregation.

True Salafism is following the methodology of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions in creed, word, action, and unity, not adopting it as a partisan methodology that misleads opponents.
