If a young man drowned while illegally migrating, is he considered a martyr?

Dying by drowning is martyrdom, based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "The martyrs are five: the one who dies of plague, the one who dies of a stomach ailment, the one who drowns, the one who is crushed by a falling building, and the martyr in the cause of Allah." A person is considered a martyr if their travel and sea voyage were permissible. As for the disobedient person who embarked on the voyage, scholars have differed concerning them. Some believe that such a person is not considered a martyr, while others have leaned towards the view that they are a martyr, as long as they did not die while committing the act of disobedience.
