What is the ruling on the prayer of a man who cannot read and places an earpiece in his ear to repeat after a reciter from his phone?

Whoever does not memorize Al-Fatihah and is unable to learn it, may listen to a reciter and repeat after him. Many scholars have gone to the extent of saying this is obligatory, while others have said it is not obligatory. The first opinion is more sound and safer.

However, if there is no need for instruction, and a man wishes to prolong the recitation or prayer with surahs he does not memorize, he should not do so, and it is sufficient for him to pray with what he has memorized.
