A bee or scorpion sting does not invalidate the fast, as there is no known scholarly opinion to that effect, and it is not categorized among the things that break the fast. The venom it injects is neither food nor drink. Furthermore, things that break the fast are presumed to be by the fasting person's choice, which is not the case here. Likewise, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections do not invalidate the fast, by agreement of contemporary scholars. The 기본 principle is the validity of the fast unless there is evidence to prove its invalidity.
